The Lemont Quarryman Challenge 10 Mile and 5K road race offers elite athletes, age group competitors and fitness runners a different, challenging course in Lemont’s unique, scenic and small town setting.

The 10 mile and 5K race start and finish in historic downtown Lemont. Each race course winds through the unique, scenic and hilly historic neighborhoods of Lemont.

To be eligible for the raffle, participants must be present at our post race party / awards ceremony and must register for a tour of the new Front Street Lofts condos.


The Lemont Quarryman Challenge 10 Mile & 5K is now an official Chicago Area Runner's Association (CARA) Registered Race.
The Chicago Area Runners Association is a non-profit organization devoted to expanding, motivating, supporting and celebrating the running community of Chicagoland. CARA connects runners to resources that enable them to run – further, faster, better, for life.

Due to CARA’s advocacy efforts, runners in the Chicago area enjoy some of the highest quality road races in the country. The Lemont Quarryman Challenge 10 Mile & 5K has partnered with CARA and, on behalf of its runners, has agreed to comply with and uphold CARA’s road race standards.
